Meisner Class on Youtube

I guess you cant post links.  So go to youtube and search "meisneracting" (one word)
to begin to view parts 1 through 7 of "Sanford Meisner: The Theater's Best Kept Secret."  These DVD's cost about $50 at Sam French but you can watch them free on YouTube.
This is a mandatory assignment for all students to be completed in the next 3 weeks.  It's about 8 hours of video that takes you through Meisner's beginning to advanced work.  New students must see to understand the context of what we are learning and veteran students will learn things they missed, misunderstood or have neglected in their functioning.
It's amazing that such valuable information for actors is available free on the internet.
Study!
Thank you,
Sean Barnes

Rehearsals

Yes I would like to rehearse more.  Anybody want to meet Monday Morning, or Tuesday ? And Trev, you wanted us to suggest what else to give up?  How about Sugar/???  I bet it would be very very hard!!!

Let me know if any of you want to rehearse.

I have a dirty mouth

Already retracting:  I had to edit my last post and get rid of some of the vulgarity.  I'm not a Christian, but I like this I idea of lent and I am going to give up all cussing for a month.  I want to be forced to express myself more precisely so that when I'm acting I can put my feeling into the actual words AND I'll be that much better than the competition.  What else do you guys think would be good to give up for a month?  Maybe I'll join you.

Hey Suckas

Trev here.  Keepin this shit real.  Let me begin by announcing that lazy acting is for people who aren't gonna make it.  We aren't those people, so lazy acting isn't for us!  I want to practice the fundamentals with a partner in private sessions  with Sean, preferably someone new each month.  So who wants in on this incredible opportunity?  (you can leave a comment w/o having an account, just be sure you sign with your name so we all know who you are)

If you want to use this blog as a forum for dialogue and scheduling, I regard you as an exceptionally intelligent person.  This way, we don't clog up our email inboxes and we can see who's signing up for what events without having to look at every email ever forwarded and replied to.  Its late now so I is going to bed.
